Our COVID-19 Message
Advanced illumination is closely monitoring the development of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although Vermont has issued a “stay at home” order for all non-essential businesses, our products manufactured in Rochester support essential businesses that are producing vital goods and services across the country.
Our doors will remain open and we will continue manufacturing products. We’d like to share with you the proactive measures we are taking to lessen its effect on our ability to deliver lighting solutions to our customers, as well as our actions to mitigate any health risks to our employees.
We are currently working with our suppliers to monitor potential impacts to our supply chain, and for now we are seeing no immediate effect on our ability to source, build, or ship our products. We will continue monitoring for possible disruptions and will communicate any developments.
We are also placing significant emphasis on the health and welfare of our employees. We are actively following the guidelines as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in addition to local health authorities. Ai personnel are actively participating in coordinated sanitizing efforts, and we are implementing a program that requires work-from-home wherever possible.
The health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers is our ultimate concern. We will continue to keep you updated as new information becomes available.
Adjusting 2020 Company Events
With the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the AIA Boston Vision Show originally scheduled for June 2020 has been cancelled. While our team was eager to participate in the show and seize the opportunity to share exciting new product updates, we understand the decision and are currently working on creative ways to bring these trade show experiences to you.
Increased video production is one element of delivering the new product experience to our customers. Product introductions, technique tips, and how-to demonstration videos will be populating our YouTube channel, as well as our other social media channels. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and LinkedIn to stay up-to-date with our new content.
We are also continuing to update our blog section with application notes and additions to our Lighting Education Series, dedicated to demonstrating illumination techniques for challenging machine vision applications. To receive updates straight to your inbox, sign up for our newsletter and stay in the know!
